Greenwich Community Turns Out for Parsonage Cottage's Annual 'Tee Party' Fundraiser

GREENWICH, CT — The Parsonage Cottage Junior Advisory Board hosted its fourth annual “Tee Party” on Saturday, June 14, drawing residents and supporters to the grounds of Parsonage Cottage Senior Residence for an afternoon of miniature golf, music, and community spirit.

Held at the senior residence at 88 Parsonage Road, the event featured an 18-hole mini-golf course and drew participants of all ages—many arriving in themed costumes and using team names such as "The Father Figures, AKA The Dad Bods," "The Ooooo Mommies," "Sons Out-Guns Out," "The Jr. Sons Out," and "The Pink Ladies." Prizes were awarded for Best Team Attire, adding to the festive atmosphere.

Despite rainy weather, attendance remained strong. Guests enjoyed lunch from Walter’s Hot Dog Truck, ice cream, music from a DJ, and refreshments—all included with registration.

"We look forward to this event every year," said Parsonage Cottage Executive Director Penny Lore in a news release. "The Tee Party has become a joyful tradition that not only supports Parsonage Cottage but also brings the wider community together in a meaningful way. Our residents love seeing the energy and youth fill our grounds — it’s truly heartwarming."

Lore also praised the Junior Advisory Board for organizing the event.

"We are so grateful for their commitment. This event plays a key role in helping us provide a comprehensive range of enriching services and activities that support the health and happiness of our residents," she added.

The annual fundraiser supports Parsonage Cottage’s mission to provide high-quality, not-for-profit assisted living services in a setting that promotes dignity, independence, and vibrant community life for older adults.
