Greenwich To Conduct Recount For GOP Seat On Board Of Education
Republican BOE candidates Megan Galletta and Cody Kittle are separated by just 36 votes, according to unofficial results.

GREENWICH, CT — The Town of Greenwich will be conducting a recount to determine which Republican will be placed in the final seat on the Board of Education.
Republicans Michael-Joseph Mercanti-Anthony, Megan Galletta and Cody Kittle were vying for two spots. According to unofficial results from the CT Secretary of State, Mercanti-Anthony secured one of the GOP seats, as he led all BOE vote getters with 9,276.
But Kittle has 8,336 votes, and Galletta totaled 8,300. Republican Registrar of Voters Fred DeCaro said a recount between Kittle and Galletta will begin on Thursday at 8 a.m. from Greenwich Town Hall.
