Greenwich Considers Removal Of Several Trees In Town Park
A public hearing is scheduled for Jan. 11.

GREENWICH, CT — The Greenwich Tree Warden will hold a public hearing on Jan. 11 to discuss a plan to remove 21 trees from Pomerance Park in Cos Cob, officials announced.
"This hearing will be held in compliance with the Connecticut Statutes, Public Shade Trees, Chapter 451, Section 23-59," wrote Tree Warden Bruce Spaman in the meeting notice, which did not elaborate on the plan. "Any person, firm or corporation objecting such removal is requested to be present."
The hearing will be held at noon in the Parks & Recreation Department meeting room on the second floor of Greenwich Town Hall.
