GREENWICH, CT — A Greenwich day care worker was arrested on Sept. 14 after police say videos showed her endangering a 2-year-old child's well-being.

Brittany Lindao, 23, was arrested at her Greenwich home last Saturday on a warrant that charges her with three counts of risk of injury to a child.

Police said the arrest warrant stems from an investigation conducted by the Greenwich Police Department's Special Victims Section into allegations that Lindao had been abusive toward a child under her care as a teacher at Grace Daycare and Learning Center, a day care/preschool on St. Roch Avenue in Greenwich.

"They located three instances in which Brittany Lindao, by way of her physical treatment of the 2-year-old victim in this case did endanger the child's well-being," police said. "While there is no direct evidence that she did, in fact, cause physical injury to the victim, her behavior in all probability would have caused injury to a child of 2 years."

Lindao was able to post a court-set bond of $100,000. She's scheduled to appear in Stamford Superior Court on Sept. 30.
