Greenwich To Discuss Removal Of 2 Trees From Town Park

GREENWICH, CT — A public hearing is scheduled for Feb. 22 to discuss the possible removal of two trees from Bible Street Park, 54 Bible St., in Cos Cob, announced Tree Warden Bruce Spaman.

"This hearing will be held in compliance with the Connecticut Statutes, Public Shade Trees, Chapter 451, Section 23-59," wrote Spaman. "Any person, firm or corporation objecting such removal is requested to be present."

The hearing is scheduled for noon in the Parks & Recreation Conference Room, second floor, in Greenwich Town Hall.
