Greenwich Drivers: Stamford Dept. of Motor Vehicles Office Will Be Closed Wednesday

Area offices of the Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicles will be closed or have limited hours Wednesday, Dec. 10, in order to train staff for the new Drive Only License program, the department has announced.
- DMV’s Norwalk Office, located at 540 Main Ave., will be closed from 7:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. due to staff training. The office will open to the public at 1 p.m. and close at its regularly scheduled time of 4 p.m.
- DMV’s Stamford’s Photo License Center, located at 137 Henry St., will be closed all day due to staff training for the Drive Only License program. The office will reopen on Thursday, December 11.
AAA Southern New England offices can also perform some DMV functions. They’re open Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. You can find the Fairfield County offices here:
