The single biggest issue in town is ______, and I plan to do this about it:

Greenwich is an extraordinary town, blessed with great schools, and public services and parks. Our goal must be to preserve and enhance these special qualities while keeping the cost of government affordable to all residents.

Critical differences between me and my opponents:

We are fortunate to have so many volunteers willing to serve on the BET. I will work to assure our government is accountable and remains effective and affordable.

Accomplishments:

I have had a successful business career, the last 20 years in Greenwich. I'm an effective communicator. I authored the BOC Budget Workshop, a comprehensive review of the town Budget for the RTM. As Vice-Chair of the BOC, and I have attended the BET Budget meeting for years and have a detailed knowledge of the Budget. As Chair of the Labor Contracts committee I oversee the RTMs work on labor contracts which cover the majority of the town budget.

Other issues:

Some feel we must have high taxes to have great government services. I believe that IF we make wise choices we can preserve and enhance what is special about Greenwich and keep property taxes affordable for everyone.

What else would you like voters to know about you?

In making decisions and particularly difficult and contentious ones I have found that more and better information is often the best way to form a consensus. I look forward to contributing to this discussion.
