Woman Pulled from Greenwich House Fire Dies (UPDATE)

Update: The woman rescued from a house fire on Windsor Lane has died, Deputy Fire Chief Brian Koczak tells Greenwich Time. The elderly woman has not been identified.

GREENWICH, CT—Firefighters rescued an unidentified elderly woman from a house fire Sunday afternoon.

Units were operating at a fire scene at 4 Windsor Lane, according to Greenwich Fire Local 1042 Twitter.

The woman was found on the first floor and the fire was put out within 15 minutes, according to Greenwich Time.

The woman's condition was unknown early Sunday evening. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
