Greenwich Firefighters Reportedly Rescue Dog From Cos Cob Blaze
The fire was reported Wednesday morning on Indian Field Road.

GREENWICH, CT — Greenwich firefighters rescued a dog while battling a residential fire on Indian Field Road in Cos Cob Wednesday morning, reports the Greenwich Free Press.
The dog was located in a crate, which was difficult to see through heavy smoke throughout the structure.

No injuries were reported. The road was closed off for a portion of the morning as fire crews fought the blaze, but it was reopened about an hour later.
