Greenwich Girls Earn State Open Gymnastics Title
The Cardinals ended Woodstock Academy's six-year championship reign in impressive fashion Saturday.

SOUTHBURY, CT — After two straight runner-up finishes in the State Open gymnastics championships, Greenwich High School was determined to reach the top of the mountain, and did so in a big way Saturday by ending the six-year championship reign of Woodstock Academy.
The Cardinals compiled 143.525 points to end Woodstock's streak of titles, which began in 2012. The Centaurs had to settle for second place with 138.425 points.
Greenwich athletes captured four of the five individual events, including three by Adnerys DeJesus.
