Greenwich Green & Clean To Celebrate 40 Years Of Community Impact
The anniversary celebration will honor four decades of community impact while raising support for the organization's future initiatives.
GREENWICH, CT — Greenwich Green & Clean (GG&C) has announced its 40th anniversary celebration, Toast to 40 Years, will be held on Sunday, May 17, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at The Field Club of Greenwich.
Since its founding in 1986, GG&C has worked alongside volunteers, local businesses, and community partners to beautify and preserve Greenwich's parks, streetscapes, and natural spaces.
The anniversary celebration will honor four decades of community impact while raising support for the organization's future initiatives.

The evening will feature live chamber music, seasonal fare, and a curated silent auction, including a private tour of Sleepy Cat Farm.
The highlight of the program will be a fireside conversation with Cynthia Blumenthal and Alyssa Keleshian — daughters of GG&C's founding leaders —reflecting on the organization's legacy and vision for the years ahead.

"This milestone is a testament to the incredible community that has supported Greenwich Green & Clean for 40 years," said Executive Director Kanako MacLennan in a news release. "We are deeply grateful to every volunteer, donor, and partner who has been part of our journey, and we look forward to celebrating together on May 17."
Event Co-Chairs Alexandra Friedman and Amanda Gaudelet added, "It is an honor to help bring this celebration to life. Greenwich Green & Clean has made a profound and lasting impact on our community, and Toast to 40 Years will be a truly special evening worthy of this milestone."
