Greenwich High Announces 2020 Valedictorians, Salutatorians
Greenwich High School has announced the Class of 2020 valedictorians and salutatorians, as well as the recipients of the Headmaster Awards.
GREENWICH, CT — As seniors at Greenwich High School prepare for graduation and the end of an academic year made challenging by the spread of the coronavirus, the school has announced the valedictorians and salutatorians for the Class of 2020.
In an announcement Friday, school officials said Zachary Wang and Melissa Woo have been named the class valedictorians, while Anne-Emilie Rouffiac and Justin Speaker have been named salutatorians. (To sign up for Greenwich breaking news alerts and more, click here.)
"Each of these four individuals has worked hard to obtain these honors, and the Greenwich High School administration is very proud to share their achievements with the rest of the community," the announcement reads.

These four students will also share remarks with the Class of 2020 during next month's graduation ceremony, details for which were recently announced by the district.

“These four students have a passion for learning and the pursuit of excellence that we expect of our entire student body," Headmaster Ralph Mayo said in a statement. "Our whole community is proud of the achievements of these exceptional young adults as they move on to the next phase of their education, and I look forward to hearing the wisdom they’ll impart on their peers and families at our upcoming graduation ceremonies."
Additionally, the school has announced 85 members of the Class of 2020 as recipients of Headmaster Awards.
“I am so very proud of these students and all of their academic achievements," Mayo said. "Each of these students has earned the respect and admiration of the faculty. These students completed a rigorous course of study in an exemplary manner, and we are proud to recognize them with these awards."
