Greenwich High Is Ranked No. 8 in Connecticut

Greenwich High School is ranked the eighth best high school in Connecticut, according to a study published by Niche.com, a website that ranks schools across the country.

Niche says the rankings of 14,431 high schools around the country “are based on dozens of key statistics and 4.6 million opinions from 280,000 students and parents. A high ranking indicates that the school is an exceptional academic institution with a diverse set of high-achieving students who rate their experience very highly.”

Here are the grades Greenwich High received: A+ for Teachers; A for Academics, Health & Safety, Resources & Facilities, Extracurriculars & Activities, and an A- for Sports & Fitness.

Here is the top 10 list of Connecticut high schools — a list that includes a number of Fairfield County schools:

1. Weston High School
2. New Canaan High School
3. Staples High School
4. Darien High School
5. Simsbury High School
6. Ridgefield High School
7. Wilton High School
8. Greenwich High School
9. Glastonbury High School
10. Amity Regional High School
