Greenwich Home Completely Destroyed By Overnight Fire
The fire broke out at a home on Locust Road after midnight.
GREENWICH, CT — Fire destroyed a Locust Road home in Greenwich early Friday morning, according to Greenwich fire officials.
The cause of the fire, which completely gutted the two-and-a-half story wood frame home, remains under investigation.
According to the Greenwich Time, water tankers and water from a nearby pond were required to help fight the blaze because the immediate area lacks fire hydrants.

Our neighbor’s house burned to the ground last night. It was crazy. We thought our house would catch because of the embers raining down. Thank you, @Greenwich_Fire_ pic.twitter.com/OVx2fLzaQr
