Greenwich Homeowner Interrupts Burglary: PD

GREENWICH, CT—A local man was charged with attempting to burglarize a Water Street apartment.

Keanu Meza, 19, was arrested on a warrant Aug 2.

He was about to gain entry to an apartment when the property owner returned on May 24, according to police. He cut two small holes in a screen.

Meza ran down the homeowner's driveway and left the property. Officers were later able to identify him, police said.

He was charged with third-degree criminal attempt at burglary.
