Greenwich Hospital Nurses Support Victims Of Domestic Violence
The hospital's nurse executive team donated $1,550 in gift cards to YWCA Greenwich to support victims and survivors of domestic violence.

GREENWICH, CT — Greenwich Hospital's nurse executive team donated $1,550 in gift cards to the YWCA Greenwich to support victims and survivors of domestic violence during the holiday season.

"This will allow women in crisis the opportunity to shop for their children for this holiday season," Peggy Lennon, executive director, Surgical Services, said in a news release. "It was impressive to see our nursing leaders come together to support women and families in need."
Kathleen Seiden, chief advancement officer for YWCA Greenwich, said the organization was grateful for the donation.

"By giving a gift card, victims of domestic abuse are empowered to make purchasing decisions for themselves and their children," Seiden said.
