Greenwich Hospital Welcomes First Baby Of 2023

The hospital welcomed its first baby of the new year shortly after midnight on Jan. 1.

GREENWICH, CT —Shortly after the clock struck midnight on Jan. 1, Greenwich Hospital welcomed its first baby of 2023.

Lily Rae Morrissey was born at 12:25 a.m., on Sunday, according to Greenwich Hospital.

This is the first child for Bridget McGowan and David Morrissey, of Rye, N.Y. The baby girl weighed 6 pounds, 6 ounces.
