Greenwich HS Football Homecoming Game Rescheduled
The game against Fairfield Ludlowe was originally scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 27.
GREENWICH, CT — The Greenwich High School Cardinals Varsity Football Homecoming Game, originally scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 27, has been moved up to Thursday, Oct. 25, at 6 p.m. at the Greenwich High Stadium, according to officials.
Inclement weather is expected this weekend, which also led to the canceling of the Homecoming Parade, writes Greenwich Free Press.
Greenwich (5-0) plays against Fairfield Ludlowe (5-1) Thursday evening. The Cardinals are ranked #2 in the state, behind #1 Darien, according to the most recent weekly poll of sports media members from around the state.
