Greenwich Human Remains: Divers Search for Clues

GREENWICH, CT — Dive teams searched a stream area in Helen Binney Kitchel Natural Park off Harding Road Thursday for more clues after a human body was found in the area earlier this week. Crews used cold weather scuba equipment to make the search easier and more effective.

The person's death wasn't recent and police believe there is no threat to the community, according to the Greenwich Time.

Police have begun to search through missing persons reports and State Police are also assisting with the investigation. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner is also working to identify the victim and find a cause of death.
