Greenwich Land Use Department To Close For 1 Day This Week
The closure is needed because work is being done as part of a move to a new location with a renovated public counter.

GREENWICH, CT — The Land Use Department, one of the busiest departments at Greenwich Town Hall, will close on Dec. 20, according to First Selectman Fred Camillo.
Camillo said in his weekly newsletter that the Land Use counter will be closed on Dec. 20 and there will be no public hours that day. The closure is needed because work is being done as part of a move to a new location with a renovated public counter, Camillo said.
The counter will reopen on Dec. 21 for regular hours for Planning and Zoning and Inland Wetlands and Watercourses.

"We realize that a lot of people utilize these counters on a daily basis and we appreciate the public’s understanding while this much needed renovation is ongoing. This work will, in the long term, provide the public with a better experience," Camillo said.
The department can still be reached by phone on Dec. 20.
