Greenwich Man, 26, Arrested On Sexual Assault Charges: Police
A 26-year-old Greenwich man was arrested on charges of sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor, according to police.

GREENWICH, CT — A Greenwich man is accused of sexually assaulting a minor, according to police.
In a statement released Monday, police said Carlos Omar Corado-Juarez, 26, was arrested Friday on a warrant following an investigation that began on July 28. On that date, the department received a complaint of a "past sexual assault of a child" under the age of 16, police said.
"A mother reported to Greenwich police that her child was subjected to inappropriate sexual contact on five different incidents," police said in a statement.

According to police, the reported incidents began in December 2019 and continued through July. (To sign up for Greenwich breaking news alerts and more, click here.)
Police said the victim provided information about the incidents, and investigators found evidence that corroborated their account. Support and medical attention were also provided to the family, police said.

On Friday, detectives from the special victims section applied for a warrant and later arrested Corado-Juarez at his home, police said.
Corado-Juarez was charged with second-degree sexual assault, fourth-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor. His bond was set at $200,000.
"Due to the sensitive nature of this investigation, the arrest warrant has been sealed and no further details will be released at this time," police said in a statement.
