Greenwich Man Accused Of Assaulting, Strangling Victim, Cops Say
The alleged assault occurred on March 22.
GREENWICH, CT — A 51-year-old Greenwich man was arrested on assault and strangulation charges Friday after a road-rage altercation in which the suspect allegedly choked the victim with the victim's coat, according to Greenwich Police.
Seth David Bladimirsquy, of Henry Street, was arrested at about 9:30 p.m. following a report of an assault on North Water Street in Byram. Bladimirsquy, a pedestrian, was almost struck by the victim's vehicle, and after the victim parked, Bladimirsquy approached him, police said.
"Further investigation revealed Bladimirsquy had pushed the victim against the building, grabbing him by his jacket in a way which restricted and impeded his breathing," wrote Greenwich police in a statement. "Due to the way that the victim was grabbed during this incident left red marks on his neck and a scratch on his arm."
