Greenwich Man Accused Of Illegally Dealing Prescription Pills

GREENWICH, CT — A 48-year-old Greenwich man was arrested by police last week and charged with illegal sale of a controlled substance following an investigation, according to Greenwich police officials.

Kevin P. Joyce, of Quarry Knoll, was arrested on April 10 at an undisclosed location on the same street.

He was described by police as someone who "sells prescription pills to numerous people" in town.

"An undercover Narcotics Detective negotiated a transaction in which the Accused sold the undercover officer prescription pills which were classified as a Scheduled 4 Controlled Substance and is available only by a licensed medical professional," authorities wrote in a statement.

What specific drugs were sold to the undercover officer were not disclosed.

Joyce was released on a written promise to appear in Stamford Superior Court on April 24.
