Greenwich Man Accused Of Shooting Child, 5, With BB Gun: Police
The incident occurred Sunday evening in the Chickahominy section of Greenwich.

GREENWICH, CT — A 5-year-old child suffered a neck injury Sunday after being shot with a BB gun, and a 44-year-old Greenwich man has been charged with allegedly pulling the trigger, according to Greenwich police.
The extent of the child's injury was not disclosed by police, nor did authorities disclose the child's relationship to the alleged shooter.
Police were called to Booth Court, in the Chickahominy section of Greenwich, at about 7 p.m. following a report of the injured child, and officers determined that Chadwick K. Marriott, of Booth Court, allegedly was responsible for the incident.

- Risk of injury to a minor (2 counts)
- Second-degree Reckless endangerment
- Illegal discharge of a firearm
- Third-degree assault
He was released after posting a $1,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Stamford Superior Court on Nov. 13.
