Greenwich Man Arrested On Assault, Strangulation Charges: Police
The warrant arrest occurred Wednesday.

GREENWICH, CT — A 22-year-old Greenwich man was arrested on a warrant Wednesday morning charging him with assault, strangulation and other offenses in connection with an Aug. 13 incident, according to Greenwich police.
Matthew S. Medina, of Wilbur Peck Court, was arrested at about 11:30 a.m. after police discovered his whereabouts in the center of Greenwich.

- Third-degree assault
- Second-degree strangulation
- Risk of injury to a child
- Third-degree assault on an elderly victim
- Disorderly conduct
- Interfering with an emergency call
He was held in lieu of bail of $50,000 and is scheduled to appear in Stamford Superior Court on Aug. 16.
