Greenwich Man Charged With Possession Of Child Pornography: Police
Police said they arrested a Greenwich resident on Wednesday following a "thorough" investigation.

GREENWICH, CT — A 26-year-old Greenwich man was arrested Wednesday and charged with first-degree possession of child pornography, according to the Greenwich Police Department.
Joseph R. Calabria was arrested while detectives from the GPD's Special Victims Section were executing a search and seizure warrant at a home in Byram, police said in a news release.
The warrant stemmed from December 2023, when Special Victims Section detectives were alerted to a Greenwich IP address that was downloading child sexual abuse material, police said.

"This investigation is still active, and the GPD Special Victims Section has found no victims from Greenwich associated with this specific case," police said, thanking other law enforcement agencies who helped in the investigation.
The FBI Violent Crimes Against Children Task Force, the Connecticut State Police Electronic Surveillance Unit and K-9 Unit, the Stamford Police Detective Bureau, and the Westport Police Detective Bureau all helped with the investigation, according to police.
