Greenwich Man In International Legal Fight Over $243M: Report
A German bank is seeking the money it says it is owed from the defendant's bad investments.

GREENWICH, CT — Greenwich resident and investor Alexander Vik is at the center of a $243 million international legal case in which Deutsche Bank says Vik owes it the money to make good on bad investments, writes the Greenwich Time.
The bank has sought the money from Vik for years, and in 2013 it won a judgment in a British court ordering him to pay, according to the publication. He has refused to do so.
On Wednesday, Deutsche Bank and Vik's company, Sebastian Holdings, Inc., appeared before the state Supreme Court to further argue the case, which centers on tying Vik's alleged responsibility to that of his company.
