Greenwich Man Who Fled From Police Custody, Apprehended in Another State

Police say the man complained that his handcuffs were too tight, and when they let him out of the car, he ran away from them.

Bryan Francois, 21, of Greenwich, was handcuffed and taken into police custody on Jan. 5 for numerous alleged drug offenses.

While in the police cruiser, he complained that his handcuffs were too tight, and an officer let him out to adjust them. At that point, Francois ran from police and he eluded them until he was taken into custody in North Carolina, the Connecticut Post reports.

Francois is now on his way back to Greenwich to face burglary and drug charges. He is accused of operating a drug factory in Greenwich.
