Greenwich To Mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month

GREENWICH, CT — October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and the town will once again raise the Breast Cancer Alliance (BCA) flag outside of town hall.

BCA is a non-profit organization based in Greenwich that has a mission to improve survival rates and quality of life for those impacted by breast cancer through better prevention, early detection, treatment and cure.

On Oct. 6 at 9 a.m., Greenwich will hold a flag-raising ceremony outside town hall followed by a free community breakfast inside so the community can learn more about breast cancer.
