Greenwich Names New Planning and Zoning Director

Longtime Greenwich town employee Patrick LaRow will take over at the department early next year.

GREENWICH, CT — The Greenwich Planning and Zoning Commission announced that Patrick LaRow will be the town's next director of planning and zoning and zoning enforcement.

LaRow's appointment will be effective in January 2023. He has worked with the town since 2007 and is the deputy director of the department. He lives in town with his wife and children.

LaRow holds a master's degree in regional planning from SUNY Albany.

Current Director Katie deLuca is retiring at the end of 2022.

“While we will miss Katie and wish her all the best in the next chapter of her life, we are excited to have Pat assume the leadership position for Planning and Zoning here in town," First Selectman Fred Camillo said in a statement. "Pat has the experience, institutional knowledge, temperament, and passion for the town that is needed in this role. I wish him well and look forward to many years of success as we continue moving forward in challenging times.”
