Greenwich To Offer Extended Tax Collector Hours

GREENWICH, CT — Greenwich Tax Collector Heather Smeriglio will hold extended hours up until the tax payment deadline.

Property and motor vehicle taxes are due on Aug 1. Smeriglio will offer extended hours to help residents at her office on July 27 from 9 a.m. to noon, and Aug. 1 from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

In his weekly newsletter to the community, First Selectman Fred Camillo said the payments cover the first installment of the 2023 Grand List. Residents can pay online, in person or by email.

Regular counter hours at Smeriglio's office are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
