Greenwich Old Timers Charity Golf Outing

The Greenwich Old Timers is proud to announce that the Eighteenth Annual Charity Golf Outing will be held on September 21.

The Greenwich Old Timers Athletic Association is proud to announce that the Eighteenth Annual Branca Brothers Charity Golf Outing will be held on Monday, September 21, 2015 at the Fairview Country Club. This will be the second year that the Association has been fortunate enough to hold this event at Fairview and we are very excited to once again offer this amazing venue to our community.

Play will be limited to 124 golfers on a first come, first served basis. The registration fee is $350 per Individual Player $1,400 for a Standard Foursome and $1,600 for a Corporate Foursome. Registration/Lunch begins at 11:00 am with a Shot-Gun Tee Off/Scramble start at 1:00 pm (beverages will be served throughout the entire outing right on the course), followed by a Cocktail Hour, Dinner, Raffle and Door prizes, which will begin at 5:00 pm. Through its entry fees as well as the Hole, Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum sponsorships, the golf tournament along with the annual dinner are the only two major fundraising events that the Greenwich Old Timers Association holds each year.

The Charity Golf Tournament began in 1997 and is named in honor of Joe and Jim Branca, founders of the Greenwich Old Timers Association. Their vision, of more than fifty years ago, was to create an organization that would not just foster good fellowship, but would raise funds to promote and support youth athletes and sports programs in our community. Along with the promotion and support of youth sports programs, the centerpiece of the Branca Brothers’ vision was the college scholarship program. Since its inception in 1960, the Old Timers have awarded college scholarships to ninety-six student-athletes. In summary the Greenwich Old Timers Association has donated over $650,000 in support of youth athletic programs and student athletes.
