Greenwich Old Timers Donates To GHS Baseball, Diamond Club
The Diamond Club supports the entire Greenwich High School Baseball program.
From The Greenwich Old Timers: The Greenwich Old Timers is proud to announce the donation of $3,500 to support Greenwich High School Baseball and the Diamond Club.
The Diamond Club has requested the purchase of three turf bullpen mounds for use at each practice and home game field. They cost approximately $1,000 each. These mounds will not only help pitchers and catchers develop and improve their skills, but they will serve to designate a bullpen area away from spectators. In addition, the Diamond Club will purchase quality hats and baseballs for all three squads. The school budget simply does not cover all the costs associated with these anticipated needs.
