Greenwich Parks & Rec Host Summer Swim & Soccer Programs

The co-ed programs are for children four years old and up.

From Greenwich Parks & Recs:The Department of Parks and Recreation announces that registration for the Summer Youth Swim Lessons has begun. The program is scheduled to run for eight, one-half hour sessions and will be held at Greenwich Pool located in Bryam Park, 4 Ritch Avenue. Class levels will range from Pre School beginners through an intermediate level. Session 1 will be held from July 9-19 on Mondays through Thursdays, session 2 will be held from July 23-August 2 on Mondays through Thursdays, and session 3 will be held from August 6-16 on Mondays through Thursdays. Rain dates will be held on Fridays of the same week.

Registration is open to all Greenwich residents with a valid 2018 Park Pass. Participants age 4 must also obtain a 2018 Park Pass, although at no charge. Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied at all times by a responsible adult, 18 years or older, with a resident Park Pass.

At this time, Greenwich residents can register online at www.greenwichct.org/webtrac by selecting “Activity Registration.” Mail-in registration will be accepted beginning Monday, May 21st and in-person beginning Tuesday, May 29 th at the Parks and Recreation Office located on the 2 nd floor of Town Hall. Office hours are 8:00AM to 4:00PM, Monday through Friday. There is a fee of $115.00 per child payable to “Town of Greenwich.” Resident primary addressee must provide two proofs of residency, if not yet provided this calendar year. Class space is limited and will be filled on a first come, first served basis. Applications can be downloaded off the Town of Greenwich web site.
