Greenwich Police Blotter: Aug. 13 To Aug. 15

Greenwich Police Blotter:
Tessa Bethune, 32, of Stamford, was charged with second-degree failure to appear.
Police say on Aug. 14 officers "responded to a residence in central Greenwich on a report of a homeless female sleeping on the front porch of a private residence. Upon arrival, the accused was uncooperative and refused to answer any questions. An officer recognized the accused, later identified as Tessa Bethune, from previous incidents. A DMV Collect Query revealed the accused had an active PRAWN warrant stemming from an incident in Clinton back in 2017."

Carmen Delgado, 29, of Stamford, was charged with second-degree failure to appear.
Police say on Aug. 13 "officers conducted a motor vehicle stop on Sheephill Road between Sound Beach Avenue Ext and Lakeside Drive. Investigation revealed the owner/operator had an active PRAWN for second-degree failure to appear. The operator of the vehicle was identified by her Connecticut Operator's License as Carmen Delgado. The accused was subsequently arrested. On June 5, the accused was stopped by police for misdemeanor motor vehicle charges. She subsequently failed to appear to one or more scheduled court appearances, and a warrant for her re-arrest was issued."

Clayton Lloyd Lewis, 31, of Greenwich, was charged with operating while under the influence and following too closely.
Police say on Aug. 14 "officers responded to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of West Putnam Avenue and Western Junior Highway. Officers made contact with the operator, who was identified by his Connecticut license as Clayton Lewis. Upon speaking with the accused, he had bloodshot, glassy eyes and was very drowsy and unsteady on his feet. The accused agreed to Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, which he did not perform to standard. The accused was placed under arrest and charged."
