Greenwich Police Blotter: July 11 To July 15
All of the information is provided by the Greenwich Police Department and all charges are allegations at this time.

Greenwich Police Blotter:
David Aguirre-Salazar, 35, of Fairfield is charged with operating an unregistered motor vehicle, illegal operation of a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs and failure to drive in proper lane.
Police say on July 11 "Greenwich Police Officers were on patrol in the area of Mill Street between South Water Street and Mead Avenue. A vehicle was observed traveling east and crossing over the clearly painted double yellow line into the westbound lane of travel. A motor vehicle stop was initiated, and odor of an alcoholic beverage was detected on the accused's breath. The accused was asked to submit to a series of standardized field sobriety tests, which he subsequently did not perform to standard. The accused was subsequently arrested for the above charges."

Shaquan Dipalo, 21, of Stamford is charged with sixth-degree larceny.
Police say on July 15, "GPD units responded to Stamford PD to pick up a subject with an active warrant out of this jurisdiction. On [July 27, 2018], the accused was identified on video surveillance stealing three bottles of liquor from a local liquor store. The accused was taken to GPD headquarters, charged...and processed."

Said Karrout, 58, of Greenwich is charged with illegal operation of a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs, failure to drive in proper lane and failure to signal.
Police say on July 14 "officers observed a vehicle driving erratically and initiated a motor vehicle stop. Further investigation revealed the accused was under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. The accused failed the field sobriety tests and was taken into custody."
Jose Augusto Monclus, 25, of Bronx, N.Y., is charged with third-degree criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and second-degree threatening.
Police say on July 12 "GPD officers in the Greenwich Avenue area were notified of a disorderly subject that had just caused an incident within a central Greenwich retail location. Officers learned that the accused had gotten upset at an employee of the store, threatened physical violence against the employee and then purposely threw merchandise on the ground, causing it to become damaged. Officers located the accused a short distance away from the store."
Luis Moreno, 24, of Bronx, N.Y., is charged with second-degree failure to appear.
Police say on July 15 "Moreno was identified during a motor vehicle stop as a passenger in the motor vehicle. A routine check of the accused's New York identification showed an active PRAWN warrant out of Waterbury for failure to appear in court. Waterbury Police confirmed the PRAWN to be active. The accused was taken into custody without incident."
