Greenwich Police To 'Boost' Presence For Halloween

GREENWICH, CT — The Greenwich Police Department said it will "boost" its presence around town Tuesday night to keep the public safe.

"GPD will be boosting their presence on Halloween night to ensure the safety of our community," the department said on Facebook. "Halloween is a time for excitement and fun, but it's crucial to remember to stay safe while trick-or-treating or attending festive events."

The department urged residents to report suspicious activity.

"Let's create a Halloween atmosphere that's enjoyable and safe for everyone involved! If you notice any suspicious activity or encounter any concerns, don't hesitate to communicate our Dispatch Center, 203-622-8004."
