Greenwich Police Investigating Series Of Home Burglaries
Police said they are investigating 12 residential burglaries that have occurred around Greenwich since October 2022.

GREENWICH, CT — The Greenwich Police Department said on Facebook recently it is investigating 12 residential burglaries that have occurred since October 2022.
"Detectives have been working on several leads, networking with other area law enforcement agencies, and applying for arrest warrants for several incidents with Stamford Superior Court," the department said on Facebook.
Police noted reports of burglaries have been occurring throughout the town and are not in one localized area. Break-ins have been happening in the late evening or overnight hours, and garages have even become targets for thieves, police added.

"The patrol officers are briefed daily on crime reports and are on the lookout for suspicious behavior on their posts," police said.
Residents who see suspicious behavior or anything out of the ordinary should contact the GPD at 203-622-8004, 24 hours per day. Residents should only call 911 for emergencies. Confidential tips can be provided through email at TIPS@greenwichct.org.
