Greenwich Police Offering Women's Self-Defense Classes

Women can learn proven techniques to bolster confidence in self-defense situations, as well as learn situational awareness.

The classes, which take place every Tuesday and Thursday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., begin May 10 and run through June 9.

GREENWICH, CT — The Greenwich Police Department will offer women's self-defense classes beginning next month.

The classes, which take place every Tuesday and Thursday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., begin May 10 and run through June 9.

The class is for 16-21-year-old women. All sessions are taught by certified police instructors and held at Greenwich Police Headquarters at 11 Bruce Place.

There is a $40 registration fee, which includes a class completion certificate and a t-shirt.
