Greenwich Police Swear In 2 New Officers
Kassidy Schupp and James Ketterer were both recently sworn in as Greenwich police officers.

GREENWICH, CT — The Greenwich Police Department began 2021 by swearing in two new officers last week. Kassidy Schupp and James Ketterer, both from New York, were sworn in as officers on Jan. 4.
According to a news release, Schupp was born in Somers, N.Y. She graduated from Somers High School in 2015, and then attended Penn State University, where she graduated in 2018 with a bachelor of arts degree (double major) in criminology and labor and employment relations.

She later graduated from Saint Joseph's University in 2020 with a master of science degree in criminal justice federal law.

Prior to becoming a Greenwich police officer, Schupp worked as a security officer for SSC Inc. and G4S – IBM. She is also a certified fitness clinician.
Ketterer was born in Greenwood Lake, New York. He graduated from George F. Baker High School in 2009, during which time he also earned the rank of Eagle Scout. He then graduated from Allegheny College in 2013 with a bachelor of arts degree in history with a minor in biology.
Prior to becoming a Greenwich police officer, Ketterer worked as a territory relations manager for both Floodco USA and Blue Cloud Pediatric Surgery Center. He also worked for Dial-America as an account executive.
