GREENWICH, CT —The Greenwich Police Department is warning residents about a jury duty scam.

Police said several residents have reported receiving phone calls advising them they skipped or missed their jury duty date and that they will be fined $500 as a result.

The GPD advised residents to hang up and ignore such calls.
