Greenwich Reform Synagogue - Your New Spiritual Home?

Jewish Home in Greenwich

Although part of the Greenwich community for over 40 years, Greenwich Reform has a beautiful new home at 92 Orchard Street in Cos Cob, conveniently located about halfway between Cos Cob School and Central Middle School, just opposite beautiful Pomerance Park.

Summer activities include Friday night Shabbat services starting at 7:00 pm, a Shabbat Torah and meditation hike, a Rosh Chodesh women’s service to welcome the new moon, a summer barbecue, and more.

About the new rabbi of Greenwich Reform: Rabbi Jordie Gerson was ordained as a Rabbi at the Hebrew Union College in New York City; prior to that, she became a Master of Theological Studies at Harvard Divinity School. She has served as a Hillel rabbi at Yale, NYU, and the University of Vermont, and has held rabbinical positions in San Diego, Montreal, and Boulder, Colorado. An avid writer, her work is regularly featured in The Forward, Huffington Post, the Harvard Divinity Bulletin, MyJewishLearning.com, and on the website Jewcy.com. Her favorite activities include skiing, surfing, running, rock-climbing, travel, meditation, and yoga. You can reach Rabbi Gerson at RabbiGerson@GRS.org or 203-629-0018.
