Greenwich Resident Harry Arora Seeks To Challenge Rep. Jim Himes
The Republican announced his candidacy last month.

GREENWICH, CT — Harry Arora, a Greenwich Republican and finance executive, recently announced his candidacy for the state's 4th Congressional District seat currently held by Democrat Jim Himes.
He intends to make economic issues the cornerstone of his campaign, and has already raised more than $600,000 for the effort. Arora seeded his campaign with $500,000 of his own money, reports the Greenwich Time.
Himes, a four-term incumbent who regularly appears on national television, will be a formidable opponent for the neophyte candidate, though no other Republicans have emerged as potential challengers.
