Greenwich Residents Push for Popular Presidential Vote
The group is urging the state legislature to sign on to the National Popular Interstate Compact.

GREENWICH, CT — A group of residents is advocating to effectively make the presidential election decided by the popular vote.
The group is urging the state legislature to sign-on to the National Popular Interstate Compact. The compact would go into effect when enough states sign up to reach the 270 electoral vote mark, which is the number needed to win the presidency, according to the Greenwich Time.
States that sign on would devote all their electoral votes to the winner of the national popular vote.
