Greenwich RTM Member Resigns Following Child Porn Charge
He was arrested after images of child pornography were found on his computer, according to police.
GREENWICH, CT — Representative Town Meeting member Christopher Sandys, 46, has resigned from his position after being charged with possession of child pornography.
Sandys was arrested Jan. 5, according to the Greenwich Time. He was appointed to the position last March to fill a vacancy.
Sandys is due in court Jan. 20. He was arrested after State Police investigated peer-to-peer child pornography image and video sharing. Greenwich Police executed a search warrant along with the Southwest Technical Investigations Unit
