Greenwich School District Not Considering New Time Change: Report
Schools Superintendent Dr. Jill Gildea recently addressed the topic.

GREENWICH, CT — Don't expect Greenwich Public Schools to return to an earlier start time at the high school, even though the later start time implemented this year experienced some growing pains, writes the Greenwich Time.
Schools Superintendent Dr. Jill Gildea recently spoke about the topic with the publication and said a return to an earlier time is not under consideration. Classes now begin at the high school at 8:30 a.m., an hour later than in the past.
The move led to some headaches, such as sports games and practices occurring in the near dark. But district officials are only considering making some adjustments and not a wholesale return to the earlier time.
