Greenwich Seeks New Harbor Master
The town of Greenwich is currently accepting applications for harbor master, a state-appointed position.

GREENWICH, CT — The Greenwich Harbor Management Commission is currently accepting applications from any resident interested in saving as the state-appointed harbor master for the town.
The opening comes following the resignation of Sean Jordan, who left his position due to personal reasons.
The position will involve working with various members of the community to ensure initiatives of the Harbor Management Commission are carried out, and all state statutes are followed. The harbor master requires knowledge of marine vessel operation. A small state stipend is provided.

"Greenwich Harbor is an exciting place to work. It is 28 miles of the wealthiest coastline in the world, not only economically but in personalities as well," said Harbor Management Commission Chairman Bernard Armstrong in a news release.

The harbor master is appointed by the governor for a term of three years. The remuneration is $525 a year. The application deadline is July 18.
