GREENWICH, CT — The Greenwich Board of Selectmen is scheduled to consider whether to advance a proposal involving the lease of municipal space at the Cohen Eastern Greenwich Civic Center.

The item, listed under new business for a first read, calls for approval of a municipal improvement referral to the Planning and Zoning Commission for the proposed lease of office space to the Old Greenwich-Riverside Community Center Inc.

The referral is required as part of the town’s land use review process.

The board is also expected to review an Americans with Disabilities Act grievance filed by a resident, which is listed as a discussion item.

Under old business, the board is scheduled to take up two previous items.

One involves proposed outdoor dining fees for the 2026 season, a policy matter tied to the use of public parking spaces and town rights-of-way. The board is scheduled to consider approval of the fee structure following prior discussion that also focused on jersey barrier covers.

The second item is a request for the town to participate in the national opioid settlements involving six remaining defendants, which is also before the board for possible action.

The agenda also includes First Selectman and selectmen’s updates, as well as appointments and nominations to town boards and commissions.

Approval of minutes from prior meetings is also listed.
