Greenwich Students Receive Lessons in Fire Safety

First Church Preschool students toured the Sound Beach Volunteer Fire Department.

The four- and five year-old Pre-K Green Door students of the First Church Preschool got a first-hand look at their local fire department.

to mark October being Fire Prevention and Safety Month, the students visited to the Sound Beach Volunteer Fire Department, just down the street from the school located at the First Congregational Church of Greenwich.

The students toured the facility, had the opportunity to sit in the cab of the fire truck, and listen to a fire safety and prevention presentation by the firefighters.
