Greenwich Students Win Art Awards

32 Greenwich students won awards at the Connecticut Scholastics Art Awards event.

GREENWICH, CT – 32 Greenwich students won awards at this year’s Connecticut Scholastics Art Awards event.

It is a juried showed open to middle and high school students statewide.

The winning students were: Valeska Lasky, drawing and illustration; Anna Bella, digital art and painting; Julia Pogge, drawing and illustration; Nina Rosenblaum, drawing and illustration; Rachel Ong, painting; Sara Ganshaw, drawing and illustration; Alexandra Sala, sculpture; Alexandra Stengel, ceramics and glass; Renee Ong, mixed media; Alina Pannone, painting; Jo de Waal, mixed media; Ryan McGinn, digital art; Kaedie Calderon, art portfolio.

The students will be feted at an arts award ceremony on Sunday, January 29th from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at the University of Hartford.
